Building Energy Audit Report

Document a building energy audit at the scope you actually performed: utility baseline normalised for weather, envelope, HVAC, lighting and plug loads surveyed, operating schedules confirmed with the people who run the building, then measures with their assumptions, cost basis, interactive effects and stated uncertainty. Targets and payback screens are your inputs, so the report shows your method rather than a number someone else invented.

Frequently asked

Is this an energy certification or a rating?

No. It is a record-keeping aid for the audit work, not a certification, not a rating, not a guarantee of savings and not a filing under any benchmarking or audit ordinance. Those programmes have their own forms, credentials and deadlines.

Why doesn't it include efficiency thresholds?

Because target intensities and code minimums depend on building type, climate zone, the adopted code edition, the incentive programme and the year. You state the benchmark you are measured against and the report records it with your assumptions.
