  1. Scaling a recipe multiplies every amount by the ratio of new servings to old servings.
  2. Find the scaling ratio (new ÷ old servings)
    6 ÷ 4 = 1.5
  3. Multiply the ingredient amount by that ratio
    2 × 1.5 = 3
