Packing List Builder

Get a packing list sized to the actual trip: how many nights, hot or cold, business or camping, and whether you will have a washing machine — which is the single biggest difference between a carry-on and a suitcase. Clothing counts are calculated, the rest is grouped into toiletries, documents, electronics and trip-specific extras, with a children's section when you need one.

Frequently asked

How are the clothing counts worked out?

From the nights and laundry access. With laundry you pack for one wash cycle plus a spare rather than the whole trip, which is why a fortnight with a washing machine packs the same as five days without one.

Does it know my airline's rules?

No, and it does not guess. Baggage allowances, liquid limits and what you may carry vary by airline and destination — check yours before you pack.

Can I change the numbers?

They are a starting point, not a prescription. Adjust for how you actually pack, and for anything you know you will buy there.
